You can exclude all restricted posts for each individual user from the main queries:
- blog page
- archive pages
- category and tag pages
- custom post type archive pages
- default search page
All you need to do is install this mini-addon.

- There are no settings to configure.
- Restricted posts are not excluded from custom queries (like latest posts in the sidebar).
