I just applied the smarter theme to my blog in a test environment. I'm running WP 2.9. The scroll box at the top of the page and footer aren't aligning as they should and the box is missing the white background. I'm not sure why. Can you help clarify at all and point me in the right direction? I have some experience with CSS but would not call myself a programmer.

I think the theme didn't get uploaded correctly to the server.
Normally the theme loads up a layout css file that contains the structure for it. In your case that particular file isn't found on the server:
http://mmtest1.com/wp-content/themes/smarter/layouts/3c-fixed.css
Try and reupload the entire theme and let me know if that worked!
I am having a similar problem. The featured page scrolling box is pushed all the way to the left, and didnt have a white background.. It has a white background now on a different version of wordpress but it is still not centered. Also the three columns at the bottom are left-aligned and stacking on top of each other instead of being in three columns centered.. Any ideas? Does the theme require any certain version of wordpress?
The theme dose not require a particular version of Wordpress although I assume older versions will probably brake the theme.(we haven't tested it, and by older versions I mean 2.6)
Please post a link to a live site so I can see what the problem is. If not send me the WP version and some screenshots.
