Hidden type inputs dont even show up in the admin. They should be admin-only and editable via admin. Thanks

Hello Adam,
could you please explain what you were using it for? When we designed, we thought that someone might want to add an “invisible” info for each registration or edit, so that it can use this value to check something before the submission is processed.
As we are always open for suggestions, tell us if you had a different idea regarding the functionality of this input.

Gabriel

I wanted to use it for an input that would be ‘admin-only’, so that the visitor doesn’t see the field on the registration and edit-profile forms, but the admin can use it to enter a value.

Adam,
the value for the hidden field can be set in the plugin’s control panel, right in the panel where you add the custom fields; or is this not flexible enough for you?

No, what I would like is to have a field whose value would change from user to user, but which is not visible in the front-end forms. Something like a checkbox for ‘this user has paid’, which the user never sees but the admin can modify (when the user has paid) via the admin. I have currently accomplished this by hiding the field with CSS- not an optimal solution. Thanks!
