I am trying to upload my own header image, I have installed thematic and street. When I upload my image nothing happens – my header is nowhere to be found. (I have checked and I think I have the permissions set correctly - when I look in the wp-uploads folder my image is there so it is getting uploaded - just not showing up) Is there a specific size it needs to be or something like that? Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks!

Are you sure you checked the "Use logo image instead of blog title and description:" option at the top of the Child Theme Options page?

MemberI had the same issue and I fixed it. My image was, say MyImage.jpg. It was uploaded correctly and I could see it in my uploads directory. The upload process/theme/whatever sets the link as mysite.com/.../.../myimage.jpg.
Do you see the difference? rename your file to myimage.jpg (with no upper case letters) and it should work great. This was a source of great frustration. Hope this helps.
