So i guessed. Will do the needful in the weekend and let you know if i get stuck anywhere, hopefully not!

There's another issue, i'm not happy with the way Commune handles images using (easy-peasy-plugin). On one hand, it makes things very easy, like inserting and making thumbnails but it takes away my freedom to -

1- hyperlink the images. I tried changing the post url, but it didn't get accepted.
2 - add text caption with links ( essentially to give credits to flickr/picasa photos i use of others). Have searched all around the web but found no solution yet.

I'm hoping you can point me out in the right direction, thanks!

Hi,

Right now the featured post is differently styled based on the commune css. To disable that style you need to comment out or delete every declaration that mentions the class .p1

Now if you're using http://www.featuredcontentgallery.com/ open index.php inside Commune and insert:

<?php include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>

after this div:
<div id="content">

That should work!

Cristian,

Please help me solve this. I have my recent blog http://www.allhimalaya.com up and running. But i need to change the Featured Post on the Home page to show a 'Featured Post' sildeshow which shows the latest 3-5 posts with teaser excerpts. I was using Featured Content Gallery in my earlier Thematic childtheme. But I don't know how to do that in Commune? any help would be grateful. I know a bit of css, html and can tweak intuitively.
