Hi Tal,

1: comment out line 34 of functions.php like so
from:

add_action('wp_page_menu', 'categ_menu');

to

//add_action('wp_page_menu', 'categ_menu');

to remove the top pages menu comment out the line 182

2: You can also have pages as categories. Simply use the Page Links To Plugin. You would simply link to a category page, something like http://www.mysite/category/the-category-name

To easily manage your menu you can then use Page Mash plugin

As for the drop-down it's a bit more complicated because the css needs to be changed quite a lot.

I hope this helps you! Let me know how that worked out for you.

Hi,

I love the theme and thinking about using it for a new website I'm building (already have thematic in place, now playing with options). But I will need it to behave a bit differently... so a few questions if I may.

I want my sites main navigation to be by PAGES and not categories. so the first question is:
1. Can I make the current category navigation menu become a page navigation menu (and loose the page navigation menu currently on the top right ) ?

Next, I would like some of the pages to be static (like about, contact) and some to actually behave like a category page- pull posts from a specified category and make them appear nicely with a post image like you designed it. so my question is:
2. Can I make "regular" pages display a specific category just as if it was a cateogry page?

And if I can be even a bit more inquisitive, is it possible to change the menu behavior to a more classical drop down menu (like the original thematic drop down looks)?

Many thanks!

Tal
