This is my first Free to Download Child Theme. It was built for a friend of mine and we decided to release it for free in hope of some extra publicity
.
To make matters short here is a screen shot:

Over the next week I’ll post small tips and tutorials about how to customize this theme in order to remove/change the top ad, style plugins that are not normally supported, etc.

Have you seen the Buddymatic theme?
And do you have an hints/tricks on getting Byty to work on Buddymatic?
Cheers
Now that I’ve seen it I can tell you that I have never tested it with Buddymatic and that I don’t have any future plans for this.
However, Child Themes get all the functionality from the parent theme, thus you need to edit the style.css file of Byty and change
“Template: thematic”
to
“Template: buddymatic”
This will get you started but from here on you’re on your own!
