Hi everyone!
I’m back from a great vacation and ready to post more interesting things. This post is about what I want to write this September. Since the hardest thing for me about blogging is starting an article, I publicly announce what I want to write about so I can put some pressure on me.
To make things short this is my plan for September:
- How to use WordPress and Thematic as a CMS – this is about the Kraft web-page that I’ve implemented and need to finish. Since it’s a presentation web-site WordPress is powerful enough to use as a backend CMS.
- First impressions about building a MagentoCommerce Theme. I’m about to start building my first Magento Custom Theme, and it should be interesting to see how things work out.
- Why I need a business plan. I’ve started work with my associate on launching a new design agency and a business plan is really something we need. It doesn’t have to be something extraordinary, but I has to exist as it will help me focus on the important things and try to dismiss time wasters.
- Launching a Free WordPress Theme. I have quite a few ready made layout designs for clients that ware not accepted and I plan on developing at least one child theme based on Thematic. I was thinking on suggesting three layouts and you guys would vote on what will be transformed into a wordpress theme.
These are just some of the things I want to write about this September, and probably these will not be the only ones.
If you are particularly interested in something drop me a line and I might consider blogging about it!
Have fun everyone!

Good Luck
I am especially interested to see how your experience with MagentoCommerce goes. Building a custom theme for Magento is HIGH on my list of things to do with several clients needing eShops up and running ASAP.

@Dave It’s nice to see interested people! MagentoCommerce is new ground for me so I’m really interested to see how this goes also! Luckily the person I develop this theme for is a friend of mine so I don’t get pressured if it won’t be ready on time
